Abstract

The results of this study indicate that (1) the tradition of Kamomoose has been carried out by the Gu community since ancient times. Kamomoose is a series of Kahia / Kaombo rituals. (2) gives a meaning to the Lakudo community, the meaning of which is: as an expression of gratitude, strengthening the relationship, a sense of brotherhood both among the people of Lakudo District and outside of Lakudo District. While the values ​​contained in the kamomoose tradition are religious values, ethical values, logical values, legal values, and aesthetic values. (3) There is a change in Kamomoose where the participant in this case Kamose who follows Kamomoose is no longer through the Kahi'ya (pingitan) procession. The Kahi'ya procession is a period of guidance for women in this matter that has not yet been headed for baliq and is a condition for Kamose to follow Kamomoose. In the research in the field it was proved that there was a shift or transformation in the cultural tradition of the Lakudo District community in this case the Kamomoose Tradition. This was due to the development of the era and social conditions. Therefore all elements of government, traditional leaders, religious leaders and community leaders must play an important role in order to preserve and preserve culture so that it is not crushed by the times.
